Festival de Théorie

The Festival de Théorie is an initiative that aims at organizing theory working groups on well-focused subjects in magnetized plasma physics. The international meetings usually bring together 25 to 35 experts for close to one month.

The objectives are threefold. First, the participants present the most recent results in the field and promote new ideas. Second, sub-groups are formed to begin new collaborative work on the subject (in this regard, it is expected that the participants cover a broad spectrum of expertise). Third, training is provided for PhD and post-doctoral students.

For each Festival, about ten competitive fellowships are available for graduate students and postdoctorates.
