cp15j-005-42

The FuseNet association was established in 2010 to stimulate, enhance, and coordinate activities involving fusion education in Europe. Their aim is to attract and train a new generation of bright, young, and motivated fusion professionals.

FuseNet has 64 members as of April 2024, ranging from academia to institutes and companies. It is regarded today as the main nucleus of fusion education in Europe.

They offer a variety of resources for students on their website, including support for master and PhD students’ participating in educational activities, sponsoring internships, advertising jobs openings, organizing annual PhD and Master events, supporting workshops, developing teaching materials and more.

FuseNet also provides tools for educational organizations and research institutes through increasing their visibility, giving them access to enhanced interactions with universities and industries, and providing them with the opportunity to make use of the teaching materials developed by FuseNet or its members.

Moreover, members are able to establish sustainable links between their company and academic partners through FuseNet’s vast network of activities and partners.
