• Detailed design of openings sealing/infilling solutions to comply with all the functional, mechanical and interface requirements. Specific design solutions could be developed when complex configurations are encountered.
• Qualification program (including mock-ups fabrication and testing campaign) to demonstrate compliance and performance of the selected sealing solutions against project nuclear safety and technical requirements such as: fire sectorization, confinement, shielding, ageing, decontaminability, seismic loading, etc.
• Realisation of other mock-ups, when needed, to confirm constructability and correct implementation of selected sealing system solution (e.g. high cables saturation ratio, thick walls...).
• Issuance and management of infilling project deliverables such as quality plans, Job Safety analysis, technical specification, execution planning, method statements, installation drawings, installation procedures, inspection plans etc.
• Material supply and onsite sealing/caulking works for mechanical, electrical and mixt systems openings, located essentially in nuclear buildings of ITER site.
• Temporary sealing of mechanical, electrical and mixt systems openings for which final closure will not be required for ITER Augmented First Plasma (AFP) operations, but where at least fire sectorization requirement remains.

The main functions of the Cryostat are to provide a vacuum environment and to support the Tokomak basic machine main components. It is interfacing with the Tokamak Building at the regular and irregular port penetrations through 54 bellows which functions are to ensure the leak tightness between the related environments and to compensate the relative movements between the Cryostat and the Tokamak Building.The layout between the Cryostat Bellows and the Tokamak Building consists of specific embedded plates which are either rectangular or circular. The structural capacity of the embedded plates is currently exceeded due to some thermal loading effects (fire and cryogenic accidents) which are applied directly on these structures. In order to resolve this issue, the scope of work of this tender is to implement thermal insulation at the Cryostat bellows / Tokamak Building interfaces.

2. CAD Collaboration: assistance to CAD Collaboration specification, monitoring and coordination, to the Specification of CAD Collaboration matters in Procurement Arrangements, Task Agreements, and Contracts. Technical writing of the related Design Collaboration Implementation Forms (DCIF).
3. Support to Diagrams and Drawings management, SMDD: administration of the dedicated tool (SMDD) to perform the checks ensuring the consistency drawings as related to data identification, Bill of Material (BoM) management and Systems components management.

1. The first part requires the design, development, build and test of a suitable
compensator. This work shall include the construction of a suitable mock-up for
testing purposes.
2. The second part of the contract is based on the successful completion of the first part
of the work. In this case, the work shall continue to develop an installation plan and
the mock-up shall then be extended to test the proposed installation process. Further
tests will also be carried out on the compensators involved in this installation process.
