ITER presents itself at the Foire de Marseille
You couldn't miss it! Located in the hall 1 of the Parc Chanot, the ITER project was on display at this year's Foire de Marseille, that ran from September 22nd to October 2nd. The location near the main entrance drew thousands of visitors to the stand, curious to learn about the ITER project, employment prospects, and fusion in general. The stand was run for ITER by Agence ITER France, assisted by staff of the ITER International Team and Tore Supra. One of the ITER staff at the fair, John How, said he had talked to so many people that he was loosing his voice by the end of the day. On September 27th there was an ITER Special Day with various lectures about ITER. Director General Nominee, Kaname Ikeda, visited the fair and met both visitors and media.
