We have recently seen a new "wave" of All-ITER email messages on subjects of no great importance to most of the ITER employees, eg lost keys, car lights on etc.  Each one of these messages goes to about 1200 email addresses, which seems like overkill, to say the least, for these kinds of messages.
The All-ITER section of Buzz iwas created especially for these kinds of messages so please post them there instead of sending out an All=ITER email message.

You can now subscribe to All ITER message alerts to make sure that when a message is posted on the All ITER message board of Buzz, you will be informed immediately.
How does it work ?
The All ITER message board on Buzz was created to enable ITER employees to post real-time messages alerting their colleagues about car lights left on, leftover food, or lost keys. Currently these messages, whether or not of importance to the whole organization, are sent via All ITER emails. Buzz will soon take over this function.
To encourage employees to start using the Buzz All ITER board for these sometimes, but not always, urgent messages, we have added a new feature to Buzz which makes it possible to subscribe to email alerts. Once subscribed, you will instantly get an email when somebody has posted a message on the Buzz All ITER message board. In this way, those who wish will be instantly notified, whereas colleagues who do not subscribe will not be bothered by messages they may not be interested in.
To subscribe to the email alert, just click the "email/rss" button in the "All-ITER" bar of Buzz.  The same functionality has also been made available for the "Market Place" section.
We would really like you to start using this new Buzz feature in order to reduce the number of all-ITER emails that are sent out, and that might not concern us all.
